Handicap parking is in our employee parking lot behind the building. Please note this is a shared lot between 3 businesses. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed. Bands: You may temporarily park behind the building to unload your gear. Please do not leave your vehicles in this space.

Does the bar have age requirements?

The Otherside is 21+ Tuesday through Saturday.

On Sundays we welcome all ages in the dining area.

Pool tables and darts are reserved for adults only.

Do we take reservations?

Yes. Please call the restaurant to speak with a server about reservations of groups of 5 or more. We do not offer reservations on our patio or outside bar.

Do we have vegetarian/gluten free options?

Yes! We offer the BEST Gluten Free pizza crust in the Triangle, or so we have been told time and time again! We also offer gluten free bread options. Any salad/pizza/sandwich can be customized as vegan or vegetarian.

Thinking of hosting an event at The Mod? We would love to celebrate with you! Our team is well versed in making parties MAGICAL! Whether it's a birthday, graduation, or even a celebration of life.... we've got you covered. We also offer daytime work space on The Otherside for corporate events!

We welcome service animals and always do our best to accommodate guests with disabilities.

Please do not hesitate to give us a call with any questions regarding access or special requirements for you or a member of your dining party.

Please note that we follow Federal and North Carolina laws regarding the definition of a service animal.

We happily welcome well behaved, quiet pets on our patio all year long. Please do not bring your pet inside to order.

Persons with Disabilities.

Article 1.

Rights.

§ 168-4.2. May be accompanied by service animal.

(a) Every person with a disability has the right to be accompanied by a service animal

trained to assist the person with his or her specific disability in any of the places listed in G.S.

168-3, and has the right to keep the service animal on any premises the person leases, rents, or uses.

The person qualifies for these rights upon the showing of a tag, issued by the Department of Health

and Human Services, under G.S. 168-4.3, stamped "NORTH CAROLINA SERVICE ANIMAL

PERMANENT REGISTRATION" and stamped with a registration number, or upon a showing that

the animal is being trained or has been trained as a service animal. The service animal may

accompany a person in any of the places listed in G.S. 168-3.

(b) An animal in training to become a service animal may be taken into any of the places

listed in G.S. 168-3 for the purpose of training when the animal is accompanied by a person who is

training the service animal and the animal wears a collar and leash, harness, or cape that identifies

the animal as a service animal in training. The trainer shall be liable for any damage caused by the

animal while using a public conveyance or on the premises of a public facility or other place listed

We are typically closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. The Otherside is open by chance on these days, feel free to call.

We offer large portion selections from our menu and have the capabilities to create special meals for large parties hosted at The Mod. We would love to get creative with you!

Is there a fee/time limit to play Pool, Darts, Cornhole or Foosball?

Accepted Answer

It is free to play Pool, Cornhole or Foosball. Although it is required to exchange an ID for the rental of the Pool Balls, Pool Sticks and Cornhole Bags. Darts are $5. There is a 1 Hour time limit for playing the games so that other people waiting can get a chance.

Please note that the back game area with Pool and Darts is reserved for adults only. Please, for everyone's safety, no children in this area at any time.

When do you charge cover on the bar?

We charge a bar cover for bands to help us pay the bands for your experience! Cover is typically $5-$10 (cash/card). Cover charge will be posted along with band advertisements. Most bands are free.
